My childhood, my China- 2009
Living in Canada, I have come to realize my childhood memories in China are my roots and treasures. My work is about nostalgia for a joyful childhood. It consists of wall pieces, stuffed dolls and printed fabrics which are inspired by old photographs, and memories of school, family and festivals. I use screen-printing and embroidery to allow my expressive drawing style to stand out vividly. Through my representation of ordinary daily activities, you can see gMy Chinah.

Materials used:
Screen-Printed Muslin and Silk Organza, Hand-embroidery, StuffedCEmbroidery hoops, Cotton Thread, Found Objects and Toys.
